David has worked in the Asset Finance industry for over 25 years building a wealth of business, sales and management experience.

David founded First Business Group in 2008/9 and has overseen the development and growth of both the asset finance brokerage First Business Finance and the own funding portfolio company First Business Securities Ltd.

THOMAS CASTLE

Director

Thomas has worked in the financial sector for over ten years in several different roles, from accountant management to director level.

Thomas is the driving focus behind FBP and will play an integral role in ensuring clients receive the best service and ensuring there is always someone at the end of the phone

The relationships Tony has built over the years allow us to offer some exclusive deals from insurers.

Also his close relationship with the Lloyd’s market gives us access to niche products not usually available in the general insurance market.

The combination of his market knowledge and unique personal approach gives Tony, and therefore our clients, the edge. The trust he’s forged with insurers, from small tailor-made schemes to international insurers, allows us access to a wider range of cover options to provide the perfect fit.

Since joining us as a quiet little mouse, Laura has progressed from apprentice to valuable member of the FBP Team. There is nothing Laura does not deal with, both with insurers and clients. It’s been a pleasure to see Laura develop her skills and become a very confident insurance professional. Akmal has over 15 years of claims’ handling experience with insurers including Aviva, Markel and Hiscox. We’ve now seen his great customer service skills first-hand, as he’s quickly built relationships with our clients as well as maintaining those with his industry contacts. With his superb interpersonal skills, Akmal’s expertise lies in subrogation and claims negotiation – and he’s always happy to take your call. Outside of the office, you’ll find Akmal studying to complete his Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) as a member of the Insurance Institute of Leeds.
